Permanent Supportive Housing

Permanent Supportive Housing offers rent subsidies and case management services for the following homeless Contra Costa residents: individuals and families that have a dual diagnosis of mental health and chronic substance abuse and individuals with chronic substance abuse problems. If you are receiving services from a county or nonprofit agency, please contact your worker for an expedited referral. 

Sunset House in Pittsburg
Homeless adults diagnosed with a mental illness live in community shared apartments and pay 30% of gross monthly income towards rent.

The Mary McGovern House
Homeless adults diagnosed with a mental illness live in a community dwelling located in Concord . There are private rooms, shared bath, kitchen, and living room.

The Landings
One-bedroom units for low-income person(s) located in Pittsburg . ($700-$800)

Barrett Apartments
Five one-bedroom units for low-income person(s), located in Richmond. ($700 to $800)

Section 8 subsidized housing for low and very low-income individuals and families; 1 bedroom and studio apartments located in Pittsburg.  To be placed on the waiting list, contact Robert at (925) 957-7578.
